Ceramic Candle created in collaboration with Alex McLeod from Sandi Collection.
Honey Fig + Ginger This sweet & refreshing scent will fill your home with the perfect mix of ripe figs, high notes of fresh ginger, and a hint of sugar.

2 Free tea light candles come with each small candle order.

Each candle is a unique item that was hand-made with care, right here in Toronto. The ceramic vessel is hand-thrown on the wheel by Common Goods Studio. It is then hand-poured by Sandi Collection using vegan soy wax, and scented with paraben-free and phthalate-free fragrances, and using lead-free cotton wicks.

Not only do you get a lovely candle, but once your candle is finished, you can enjoy your new handmade pot to be reused as a planter, vase, drinking cup, or utensil holder. All vessels are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of each candle, sizing and burn time will vary.
Candle volume: 7-10oz
Burn time: 45-60 hours

Candle Care -

The boring, but essential information to get the most out of your candle and keep that baby burning long & beautifully!

- Always trim your wicks to 1/4" before every burn (can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or nail clippers). This will create a cleaner burn and ensure little to no soot or residue build-up.

- First Burn: Allow enough time (approximately 2-3 hours) for your candle to melt to the edge completely on the first burn. Wax has a "memory" and how you burn your candle the first time will determine how it burns forever. If you don't allow the candle to melt to the edge, you risk a "tunnel" forming, and if the tunnel becomes too deep, your wick will struggle to "breathe" and stay lit.

- Never burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. Any longer and the flame will become too large, resulting in soot and residue build-up.

- Never leave a candle unattended.

Cleaning out your Candle -
Once your candle is roughly 1/2" from the bottom, it is now done. Wait for the wax to completely harden and then simply pour boiled water into the pot to melt the remaining wax. The melting wax will float to the top. Let the water cool completely and the wax will harden at the top. Remove the wax with a spoon*. Wipe out any remaining wax from the sides, pop off the wick tab(s) using a spoon, and then wash thoroughly with warm soapy water to remove any residue.
*Pro tip: Save the wax pieces to use in a wax warmer!
